The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
